Fresh corn is now available!!

For those of you that have been patiently waiting.....the corn is here! Ousley's Harvest Gardens brought their first batch of corn to the market last Saturday. Yum! Yes, I say this from personal experience as we enjoyed it for dinner on Saturday night! Stop out this week and pick some up! See you there!

A little rain never hurt anyone......right??

Well, we had our chance to find out last Saturday! It rained, then stopped....then rained some more! Oh well! The Central Indiana Blood Mobile showed up and still managed to get some much needed donations, despite the low traffic flow. Thank you to all who donated! Thanks also to St. Vincent Mercy Hospital who did free blood pressure screenings and Dr. Barnett and his lovely "tooth fairy" wife Mavis for stopping out and spreading the word about healthy dental practices. Mavis made a great Tooth Fairy!

This coming week, July 18th is our annual Kid's Day. The Praise Puppets from East Main Street Christian Church will be performing a show at 11:00. There will also be corn hole, old fashioned sack races, face painting, tatoos, balloons and lots of free treats for all the kids. Come out and join us for a day of fun! (and no rain!!)
